Manila Ocean Park is the country’s first world-class marine theme park. It is one of the chosen field-trip destinations of schools for its marine life education. It is located near Rizal Park in Manila. There are offered packages for the whole family to enjoy.

My hubby’s birthday treat is a tour in the Oceanarium.  I was wishing we could watch the beautiful Musical Fountain Show at night but we will be having our dinner in Tagaytay City so we only chose this primary attraction to enjoy our short afternoon tour.

We’re a family who loves to swim and snorkel on a beach. And so our encounter with the underwater creatures tickled the adrenalin rush. Seeing variety of fish for the first time was such a delightful feeling. My kids were fascinated looking at colorful aquatic species.

After the tour, we stayed awhile on the tunnel, amazed to see more fish and stingrays hovering freely on the water.

After the tour, we ate our lunch in Chowking and later bought souvenir items near the food stall.  We’re about to proceed to the parking lot but we were approached by a staff of Seriland Tricky Art Museum and were tempted to go inside and had our tricky photos with their amazing tricky real-life paintings for P99/per head.

As we strolled around we saw hotels, food stalls, shopping boutiques, and other souvenir stores.

That ended our short afternoon tour hope we could go back and avail of their affordable packages in the future.
