Between Morong Star in Morong, Bataan, and Puerto Marina in Pangasinan, the former was finally chosen by the majority for this year’s company outing of Finance and Admin Departments. The resort’s wide array of activities especially the Banana Boat was the reason behind its winning. And we’re so excited for that ride!

Walking and Chilling Around in La Trinidad, Benguet
The view of the grassy hill and the start of cool temperature served as an appetizer for a fresh meal of amazing scenery ahead of us as we were approaching Baguio City. But as we moved on I was surprised to see that it was now highly urbanized with houses made of modern architecture and with fewer pine trees. And there was heavy traffic along the way.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 9: Child delight in Singapore Zoo
This day marks our last glimpse of Singapore. My brother (our generous provider haha!) made us choose which of these zoos we like best to explore on our last day – River Safari, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, or Singapore Zoo. Since we can’t decide which is which, he finally declared the latter. With his family who had been there once, we set off early so we can fully enjoy our one whole day family getaway.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 6: Lunch treat at Food Republic in Wisma Atria
After our shopping of affordable buys at Bugis Street, Bogs and Allan (my hubby’s former office mates, now based in Singapore) treated us a hefty lunch at Food Republic (our version of Food Court) at level 4 of Wisma Atria shopping mall in Orchard Road.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 5: Affordable buys at Bugis Street
It is so easy and convenient to stroll around in Singapore because of their effective transportation. Since my brother, our generous tour guide will report for work today (no family getaway by now), my hubby, Pao, and I decided to spend our fourth day buying pasalubong in Bugis Street. It is Singapore’s popular flea market where it offers affordable buys from souvenir items, t-shirts, foods, shoes, and a lot more.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 7: Window Shopping along Orchard Road Shopping Belt
Our tummies were filled to its brim as Bogs and Allan (my hubby’s former office mates now based in Singapore) treated us to a hefty lunch in the Food Republic in Wisma Atria. They could not get enough of their “keeping in touch” conversation so they decided to settle for a coffee break at Starbucks Coffee along Orchard Road. Then they toured us around to see how fabulous getting into Asia’s famous shopping street.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 8: Orchard Road and Clarke Quay
We’re done with our window shopping at the famous malls on Orchard Road. It’s time now to rest our feet and settle for a coffee break at Starbucks Coffee situated near ION Orchard. Bogs and Allan ordered their favorite coffees while my hubby bought three mocha frappes and a tumbler, his travel collection which he got for SG$18.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 4: Universal Studios Singapore
The most anticipated part in our Singapore family trip had come. We are going to Universal Studios! Yeeehh! Everyone was so excited. And just like yesterday (our second day), we all awoke early so we can reach this famous Singapore’s tourist attraction before the gates open. We want to enjoy fully our one-day amazing getaway.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 2: Visited 15 tourist spots on Day 2
It has been said, you will appreciate more of Singapore’s tourist attractions if you walk on foot. It may wear you out, but the sweat and foot ache will worth it. We only have five major places to visit on our second day, but amazingly, we had fifteen! Such is the advantage of walking, one sees so much more. I was so thankful to my travel buddies who never complain despite the scorching heat and the distances we traversed coming from one place to the other.
Singapore Family Trip-Part 1: Our First Day in the Lion Country
Being known for its exemplary cleanliness and safest place to visit, Singapore is no doubt one of the top Asian destinations for Filipinos during vacation and holidays. The whole family will surely enjoy immersing in numerous tourist spots, exciting attractions, a myriad of activities, shopping malls, and amusements. The transportation system is so accessible and there is no language barrier since English is a common language.
