It was hard to wake up early in a cold and freezing morning, snuggling against the warmth of our bed. However, today is the start of our exciting tour in Las Vegas, so we have to eat breakfast, take a shower, and get dressed for the long day ahead. My niece Miko and husband Derick who sponsored our trip will bring us to famous hotels and casinos and we will revel in a unique dining experience. We are thrilled to explore and see the charm and elegance of the famous Las Vegas.

Visiting Las Vegas for the first time
Exciting. Shimmering. Fabulous. This is what Las Vegas to me. Apart from our two-week vacation in California, we will visit my niece and her family in Nevada, particularly in Las Vegas. We can’t contain our excitement as we traveled from one state to the other to see the charm and elegance of what is known as “The Entertainment Capital of the World”.
The Golden Gate Bridge, California: From Pipe Dream to Reality
Visiting the United States is one of my biggest dreams since my high school days. Back then, I had a notebook with a list of attractions in each State. I collected picture clippings as well which include the Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, the Grand Canyon, and Death Valley. I also had the Golden Gate Bridge for the man-made category. Never in my life had I imagined that one day, me and my loved ones would set foot in one of these famous landmarks. A pipe dream that turns into reality!
Our first unforgettable visit to San Francisco, California (with tips and travel guide)
I was so thankful that we were granted a multiple US Visa by November of this year. However, we have no plan yet to visit my sister who is based in California and my niece in Nevada because airfare is pretty expensive for one family. I content myself imagining ourselves traveling to a sprawling country teeming with many amazing tourist attractions and staggering natural beauty. America is indeed, a dream destination. Little did we know that by the end of December this year, we would be getting in the United States on an abrupt visit!
Soi: Eat Thai. Love Thai. Yummy Pad Thai
My hubby and I craved for ramen after we bought grocery goodies in Hypermarket in SM Mall of Asia. However, as we walked on the Ground Floor just outside Hypermarket, my eyes suddenly beamed with excitement upon seeing this Thai Restaurant called Soi. This is in time with my upcoming trip to Thailand this January. I tried Thai food in Singapore but missed out on the famous Pad Thai. I will try this in Soi and see why travelers visiting Thailand are craving to taste this dish.
Apo Whang-Od, the Signature Tattoo and the unforgettable trip to Buscalan
I am an art enthusiast (from sketching, painting, drawing, photography, anything that my hands can do), the reason why I admired and appreciated Apo Whang-Od, the woman of ingenuity. She caught my heart that is why when I was invited by Cy (my favorite travel buddy) to visit her place, in a flash, I said Yes! After all, I waited for years to meet her and set foot to tattoo village in Buscalan as well.

The Korean have flexed their influence in the Philippines from K-drama, K-pop, health spas, grocery stores, eateries, restaurants, barbecue and even songs that girl teens love to sing out loud. With this wave in the country, it is high time to spare some money to fly in Korea to enjoy the scenery, the cool weather, and the warmth of its people.
Family Goals: Caramoan Island Day 2: West side tour
The fun never stops in our Caramoan island hopping. I was glad that my family enjoyed our water activity yesterday on the East Side. They were captivated of the stunning islands that loomed through their eyes. For our second day, we will visit the islands on the West Side. This includes Guinahoan Lighthouse, Cotivas, Manlawi Sandbar, and Sabitang Laya.
Family Goals-Caramoan Island Day 1: East Side Island Hopping
Come South! Cam Sur! Ms. Millennial 2017 Julia Gonowon’s shout out beckoned my family to visit Caramoan Island. I was thankful for this beauty pageant in the noontime show Eat Bulaga as they highlighted the beauty of Caramoan. As such, I convinced them easily to visit one of the stunning islands in Bicolandia and I was so excited to bring them here!
