Palale Falls: Keep Coming Back to Tropical Paradise
I woke up at 5:30 am, hailed the curtain, and was captivated to see the sun embracing the vast rice field. I took my cam and hastily went outside our vacation house. I stood at the edge of the main road and captured my favorite sunrise photo. Soon there was a cheerful blue sky. What a lovely sight to start the day. Continue reading
Kawa-Kawa Hill Natural Park: Rejuvenate Yourself with Natural Wonder
Kawa-Kawa Hill is a 236-meter hill located in California Village, Barangay Tuburan in Ligao City. The hill got its name from “kawa” a local dialect that means a native cauldron. That wonderful shape could be seen upon reaching the crater through walking in a well-paved walkway and passing the five trails of Stations of the Cross.
Our Exciting Bohol Trip
Before my hubby’s IT project in Cebu will end, he enjoined me to go there and we will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary in Bohol which is a one-hour water trip through a fast ferry ride. Together, we will explore the famous and beautiful attractions in this region.
Going Back to Villa Sulit at Baryo Hugom, San Juan, Batangas
Panagbenga Festival or swimming in a beach resort? “Swimming!” Pao chose the latter eagerly. Our son is not a finicky lad, he doesn’t care if it’s a black or white sand beach as long as we are all together in a family getaway, that would be it. And so for his 14th birthday, we will go back to Villa Sulit in Baryo Hugom in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. Cheap resort but with clear water and breathtaking view.
Getting High at Moa Eye, SM Mall of Asia
It was Ax’s fifth birthday and we had a simple get-together at SM Mall of Asia. My cutie nephew and his cousins craved for pizza. We took a long table in Shakey’s Restaurant. Gradually, memories of the past came back to me. Our parents would bring us here to celebrate special occasions. Now it’s our turn to bring them here… but this time, it’s with our kids… time flew so fast.
Willy’s Rock: Boracay’s Most Photographed Spot
For our last day in Boracay, we woke up so early to visit the most photographed spot, Willy’s Rock. I coerced my hubby and our kids to visit this early morning as it is at its best for a memorable photo shoot. We will never leave Boracay without a picture with the famous iconic symbol of the island.
Boracay-Day Two: Island Hopping
We woke up early to catch a sunrise photo of Boracay. But to our dismay, it was a gloomy morning. It did not dampen our mood and wishing that the weather would cooperate for our island hopping today. This is our second day on this beautiful island and we are looking forward to a happy adventure in what has been called, the beach capital of the Philippines.
Boracay: A Delightful Family Getaway
Boracay is considered the beach capital of the Philippines and is famous for its powdery white sand and crystal-clear blue waters. Our long-time plan for a family vacation to Boracay was set for the month of December. We waited for Noel, my brother-in-law now based in Israel to come home for the festive season. We had early booking so we chanced to buy cheap airfare. And with this, off we took this once in a lifetime “get-together”, and Boracay is definitely a place to go.
