Part 4: Hong Kong and Macau Trip: The Venetian Macao and Galaxy Macau

I will not leave Macau without visiting its grand casinos which make the city famous. After a hefty lunch with Day Leen, Jelo, Kimmie in a restaurant near Real Casino Hotel, we boarded a free shuttle service going to the Venetian Macao in Cotai Strip. This is the first casino on my bucket list to visit. Surprisingly, after all the walking from Senado Square down to Golden Lotus Square, we were all still giddy with excitement to proceed to the last leg of our Macau tour.

Part 2: Hong Kong and Macau Trip: Ruins of St. Paul’s, Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt and Na Tcha Temple

There was something magical about Macau as we explore more the narrow alleys coming from Senado Square and St. Dominic’s Church. The business center was a busy place. We passed by lanes of food stalls, souvenir shops, and fashion boutiques. Finally, we caught glimpse of the imposing facade of Ruins of St. Paul’s perched on top of a hill.

Part 3: Hong Kong and Macau Trip: A-Ma Temple, Maritime Museum and the Golden Lotus Square

We encountered difficulty in bus hopping due to Macau’s Grand Prix being held from November 17 to 20, 2016. But it didn’t dampen my excitement because my new travel buddies, Day Leen, Jelo, and Kimmie are all persistent to go places despite the situation. Coming from the Ruins of St. Paul’s, we boarded Bus 10A going to A-Ma Temple. From the bus stop, there was signage pointing in the direction of the temple. It was indeed easy to find.

Stormy lunch at Nathaniel’s Bakeshop, Subic Bay Freeport Zone

Storm signal number 3 prompted us to vacate Potipot Island the other night. We stayed in Harvest Beach Resort and there we spent the windy night peacefully. When morning came, I hailed the curtain and saw the strong buffeting of waves brought by heavy rain and a strong gust of winds.

Ramen Night at Kimono Ken, Blue Bay Walk, Pasay City

It was Friday and payday, so I left the office early for a mall stroll. My hubby was still busy with his work in his office so I went ahead and toured around at Landmark, Glorietta, and finally at the kitchen wares of SM Makati. I was so tired and hungry when my hubby fetched me. Spaghetti and ice tea are not enough to sustain the grumbling sound in my tummy. And since he was hungry too, he told me to spend our Friday night dinner at Blue Bay Walk in Pasay City.

Ternate Beach Resort, Ternate Cavite

For my daughter’s 10th birthday celebration, we opted to go back to Katungkulan Beach Resort (formerly known as Cavite de Boracay) in Ternate, Cavite for another water fun adventure. Unfortunately, it was closed due to the week-long training of the marines. Our Plan B was in Ternate Beach Resort, the nearest resort known for its budget rate and accessibility.

Pit Stop at Mountain Brew Coffee Shop, Ternate, Cavite

There are many coffee shops sprouting like mushrooms around the country. Whenever we are in a family getaway, my hubby being a coffee lover will sure to chill out once he spotted a unique coffee shop along the way. We will drop by to sit awhile and sip the usual mocha frappe or iced latte.

Moonlight Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas

When my sister abroad went home for a one-month vacation with her family, she told me to look for a nice beach for a water escapade. My brother who is based in Singapore came home too for a five-day vacation. This is indeed an exciting reunion with my siblings especially with my sister who got so busy with her work since they migrated to California for almost three years now.

Company outing at Morong Star Beach Resort, Morong, Bataan

Between Morong Star in Morong, Bataan, and Puerto Marina in Pangasinan, the former was finally chosen by the majority for this year’s company outing of Finance and Admin Departments. The resort’s wide array of activities especially the Banana Boat was the reason behind its winning. And we’re so excited for that ride!

Walking and Chilling Around in La Trinidad, Benguet

The view of the grassy hill and the start of cool temperature served as an appetizer for a fresh meal of amazing scenery ahead of us as we were approaching Baguio City. But as we moved on I was surprised to see that it was now highly urbanized with houses made of modern architecture and with fewer pine trees. And there was heavy traffic along the way.
